Application procedure to GB for undergraduate courses
Deadlines:
- 15th of October the year before starting at Oxford and Cambridge Universities and for medicine, dentistry and veterinary medicine and science (max. 4 choices).
- 15th of January for EU-students.
- Between 1st of January and 24th of March, recommending by 7th of March for Art and Design Route B courses
- 30th of June for international students ( Faroese). The earlier the better.

Further procedure with the application:
- UCAS sends copy of the application to the university on behalf of the student
- The university makes a decision and sends an informal letter of offer.
- UCAS receives confirmation of the decision electronically from the Uni
- UCAS send formal offer to student
- The student informs UCAS if they are accepting the offer
- UCAS updates student’s university record electronically
- If it is a conditional offer, e.g. subject to passing current year’s exams, the student sends the result(s) directly to the university (International Office)
- The university makes – hopefully – the offer unconditional and issues an informal letter and informs UCAS electronically
- UCAS issues the formal letter of offer
- The student informs UCAS, if he is accepting or declining the offer
- The university sends further information to student nearer the start date.
